Emily Riley

Driven by her curiosity to enhance her mental game, Emily was introduced to the world of mental performance. As an elite-level curler, she worked with a mental performance consultant and saw great improvements not only in her performance but also in her enjoyment and satisfaction while competing and training. This led her to study sports psychology at the University of Ottawa, earning her Master’s degree. Emily is now passionate to help other athletes optimize their mental performance using her science-based approach alongside her personal experiences.

 

Athletic Background

Emily represented Canada at the World Mixed Curling Championships (2023) winning a bronze medal. She is a Canadian Mixed gold medalist (2022) and bronze medalist (2018), as well as a Canadian Junior silver medalist (2018). She is a member of the Quebec women’s curling team who competed at the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the 2021 Olympic pre-trial qualifier. She has represented Quebec at 10 national championships.

With her sports experiences, Emily understands first-hand the pressures athletes face to perform on-demand, manage work and school obligations, and maintain relationships, all while trying to sustain well-being. If you are an athlete, you can surely appreciate the realness of this challenge!

With a Master’s degree studying in the field of sports psychology, as well as a professional membership with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association, Emily is appropriately qualified and equipped with the expertise to help you reach your goals.
